The Golden Egg is perhaps more of a state of mind than a posture in yoga. The Golden Egg involves sustaining and concentrating your core strength, creating what Sadie Nardini calls an "abdominal balloon."

The Golden Egg is a crucial Core Strength teaching, including the deeper core musculature of the pelvic diaphragm (not the pelvic floor!), breathing, support for the spine, and how to simply teach it using Sadie's Golden Egg teaching. Using what yogis call Mula Bandha is to energize more, improve digestion, release spinal compression and strengthen more from the inside out with the Golden Egg in every pose!
